Just read some very good books recently.

First Non Fiction

High in the Empty Blue by A Revell. I've been after this for ages but was always way to expensive. However finally I found it in great condition second-hand for a very good price. Superb read, following RFC 56 Squadron.

Fiction

The Old Lie by A Revell. As the author is Alex who wrote the book above I had to get it. You know it's going to be historically accurate for starters. Well worth reading

LINK

1917 Inherit the Blue by R Eiesle. This is the first of three books that are well worth reading.

Actually there's a well-stocked library over in the Technical & Reference section:

Loads of good stuff in there, but thanks for the Revell books hint - I don't have them.

Wodin, there are sooooo many great books concerning the Great War in the air. Just off the top of my head here are a few must reads:

"No Parachute", Arthur Gould Lee
"Winged Victory", V.M. Yeates
"With the Earth Beneath", A.R. Kingsford
"Wind in the Wires", Duncan Grinnell-Milne
"Days on the Wing", Willy Coppens
"Horses Don’t Fly: A Memoir of World War I", Frederick Libby
"Sagittarius Rising", Cecil Lewis

and on and on and on ...

.
