Anyone watching this Saturday night ? I never pay for big PPV events. My son asked to go 50/50, so I'm in.
I think they are both dinks, I don't really care who wins.
I predict Mayweather makes McGregor look silly with his defensive skills.

That's a little steep. I wonder if Twitter will have punch by punch updates? I have a weird feeling this one might be a dud. Wouldn't be surprised if some spectator does something stupid, to get attention. What's the over under in minutes of talk of a rematch as soon as it ends ? biggrin

Twitter is up to date if you follow the right people.

I think Mayweather with beat him with foot work. Mayweather wins and McGregor starts calling him a chicken, if he doesn't agree to a rematch.

Than again, Mcgregor could KO him. That's what makes it fun.

Maybe we can get the rarely seen double knock out. I think Mayweather will just take a bunch of hits for a few rounds , then knock him out.

The only way I can see Mayweather losing is if his abilities have dropped off a cliff thanks to his age and 2 years of inactivity.

Fighters that are heavily dependent on their reflexes and timing who start to lose them often struggle, even if they still outmatch their opponent in those regard.

Also older fighters can sometimes be dramatically more prone to cuts and swelling practically overnight.

I'm fairly confident that two fights have been pre-arranged to take place, where whoever wins the first fight, will agree to lose the second fight, thus allowing it to be a draw. Both fighters have their own promotional companies, and it would be in their obvious best interest to have a planned rematch, which would be another $100 million dollar payday for each fighter.

Neither one of them is getting a nickel of my money.

If by some miracle I find out that some product I use is a sponsor it's nasty e-mail and cease to use it time.

This is almost dumber than wrestling.

It's a joke. Mayweather wouldn't have taken the fight if he wasn't guaranteed to win, and get a big payday.

I know nothing about fights, but I'll go with the boxer in a boxing ring every time. Unless he loses, then next time I might not. LOL
Last time I pitched in for PPV on a boxing match was one of those Tyson fights where it was over in the time it took me to find the beer cooler and I missed it. Never again.

Boxing is a helluva lot more interesting than American Football.

Especially if the dumb ass white guy goes for the head.

BUT, if you act all crazy and just throw body punches...whole different ball game.

No idea how I know that. winkngrin

I like UFC but even then I only purchased one PPV with my son, he fell asleep before the finally and it was a joke. Never will be sucked in again buying one of these, I hate boxing and hate this POS even more...

Reminds me of Muhammad Ali vs. Antonio Inoki. Anyone here, old enough to remember that embarrassing circus?
