Cool. BTW that simulation and that Royal Navy Deck Landing simulator looks awesome! The military could make some extra monies by selling some civilian issued software versions of those pleaese!! Kind of reminds me of the days where I desperately tried to land Sea Harriers on carriers in ATF Gold.

I'm blown away that a mere 57 knots indicated would make all that much difference for an F-35B!

Maybe you could start with using DIno Catteneo's F-35 in FSX and spawn a carrier using VRS TacPack.

Anyone remember 'Merlin Challenge'? It was made by Digital Integration in co-operation with the Royal Navy.

It looks like a cut-down version of Tornado that allows you to approach and land a Merlin helicopter onto a RN ship and then give a score. Not exactly sure what the purpose of this was,a recruiting tool maybe?

If you want to try it yourself you can play it in DosBox in your browser here https://classicreload.com/merlin-challenge.html

I thought I'd try this myself. Slapped this together real quick-like:

VSTOL 1:

VSTOL 2:

F-35C Trap:

Forgive my bad traps...I literally flew this F-35 onto a carrier for the first time and was just doing it just to do it at 1 am haha.
