That reminds me. I was very frustrated that I could never romance her. I never got any dialogue option with her that would have allowed me to do that. There was only one female character who I could romance so I didn't like that limitation at all. The romance options in the first three games were far superior.

Suvi is only available for Sarah, not for Scott. You get to try it but then get shot down.
Indeed for Scott there's only one human female. And she's not the prettiest type. Which is why I dislike Bioware and their Social Justice game design.
Ah ok. Well, the first three ME games allowed same-sex relationships so there's nothing new here. What upsets me is that you ONLY get one female option to romance if you play as Scott. That is just lazy programming.

Well, you get three alien females. If you're into that kind of thing. I'm not so I want a Suvi mod. I'm guessing that Cora also "bats for the other team" since I never got any romance options with her.

The problem is that this i sold as an RPG. We have grown used to the immersion tropes that add to the RPG, but are not the RPG. Combat, crafting and action game mechanics. Sure, they add to the immersion and give a little break in the games "routine" of the main quest.
But when an RPG's story is weak, it's like finding the foundation of your nice house is rotting.
I will not go into the launch issues of this title any more, which i think affected the sales more than any issue with story, but this is a clear example of a project that would had turned out much better given additional time for release.
I can only speak for the partial playthroughs I have watched, but i think it deserves the 50% user score it has, but more based on EA's and BioWare's team bad management of this as a software project and initial low standards. They did a good job getting the technical issues fixed, but that was after the backlash and ridicule, and a bit late.
I will definitively get this at some point, as I think there is a lot to enjoy in it now, but this is a bargain bin purchase for me, just like Battlefront.
