Sony Xperia X. Like it a lot.

Motorola Droid Turbo. I'm due for a new one but this one still works great. 2.5 hours to charge it and then I just over 2 days' worth of power before I have to recharge again. I love how I can just give it two twists of the wrist and the camera turns on. Two chops with the wrist and the dual LEDs toggle on and off for a flashlight. When a text comes in, I get a screen notice while it's asleep so that turning on the screen does not drain the battery, and I can read the text right from the sleep screen. Kevlar back, Gorilla glass screen, water resistant nano coating. Other cool things like being able to change "OK Google Now " to whatever I want (I changed it to "OK, R2D2").
The next gen phone for me is the Motorola Droid Z Force, but other than the magnetic mods, it seems like a step backwards rather than forward. So run this phone into the grave I will!

Samsung Galaxy S7, as is typical of Samsung handsets it has good hardware but a terrible user interface.
I love the interface of my S4, can't stand my wifes iPhone6. To each his own.

My LG4 recently crapped out, so I got a Google Pixel. So far, I'm pretty happy with it. Fortunately, the guy at Verizon was able to resurrect the LG4 long enough to get the files copied, etc. ... but the power system on it was definitely hosed. Same here, have the Pixel XL, love the hell out of it. Came from a Nexus 6P which didn't think could be bettered.

When people ask me what type of phone i got...."Google Pixel"...they look at me like I have 3 heads.

Maybe. OTOH, I've seen recent remarks from some high mucky muck in MS saying that they are working on something, but that it would be different than the traditional smartphone somehow. MS has some experience with creating a new paradigm (ie. The Surface), so they may have something unusual in the works. The Windows 10 S ecosystem they are trying to establish makes me think it may tie into that. If they do come out with something, it probably won't get up to a dominant market share... but it may end up being notable for a niche market. Meanwhile, they have been making some good moves on working with Android and IOS devices and accommodating them in Windows 10. EDIT: Found the mucky muck quote: https://www.forbes.com/sites/ewansp...surface-phone-design-ideas/#4f1b64845e3d The buzz around a new smartphone from Microsoft continues to build. Although Windows Phone has now reached the end of its life, Redmond is not finished with mobile technology. CEO Satya Nadella went as far as confirming that Microsoft will “make more phones, but they will not look like phones that are there today.” The rest of the article is worth a look. It maybe wishful thinking on the author's part...
