I lived in Miami for most of my life so these "boots" some of you speak of don't compute. Well, I was In the Boy Scouts when I lived In Florida (Miami) and we used boots, later I was also In the C.A.P. (Civil Air Patrol) and we also used boots, so I guess It all depends on what your doing.

Yeah I can definitely see that. I think I just associate boots mostly with cold weather and mountainous regions.

1 x dress shoes 2 x trainers 1 x Arctic trainers for winter use 1 x winter boots 1 x uniform shoes (now retired I guess) 1 x sailing boots 2 x skiing boots 1 x slippers Next will be some mountain shoes .

Yes, the best Dancer's tend to be European Of my many shoes, about a dozen pair are Dance Shoes. We buy directly from Supadance in England (made in England). One thing many don't know, Dancing is a Man's Sport when done correctly -- and the women love you for it.

For me I put dancing right up there with watching paint dry or watching CSPAN.  You are "normal" I've had many a guy look at me "sideways" when I say I dance. I get it -- no problem Again, once into it long enough to be good at it -- it becomes "very romantic" -- the second most fun thing to do with a woman -- and can easily lead to the first most fun thing

I get what you meant though PM, highest mountain In Florida might be Space Mountain in Orlando! I see folks counting there work boots/shoes (steel toe). Well I didn´t count those, I try to forget thinking about them, specially on Fridays!
