I put a big bore 270cc kit on my aging bike...upping it from a 250. Really liking the bike again. The combination of the big bore and the new Yoshimira exhaust makes this bike soung great!
Here's a video of me taking it out the first time and breaking it in:

Going big bore generally adds more torque throughout the whole range. I noticed it pulling harder from off idle all the way up through to 10,500 rpm. This bike's rev limiter is at 14k rpms...I never went past 10.5 though so I'm not sure if it signs off at the very top.
I've had this bike for 4&1/2 years now...was thinking about buying a new $12k 450. This bore kit and exhaust made it a different bike...bought the ole' girl some time! And it only cost me about $900! (wife's happy about that). I will still be shy about 10-15 horsepower to the 450s and 350s on my starting gate...but the fun factor just went way up!

Thanks RS! I really like how the bike sounds too...it's got a nice growl to it. Still keeping at it it for sure...but I would replace "strong" with something like "dying inside"...lol. At 53...not sure how much longer I have left in this hobby!

I'm taking a break from racing and riding motocross tracks...my daughter is getting married and I'm not taking a chance of being in a cast or on crutches for her big day.
I did slip in some "light" trail riding on Sunday though.

Force10, I flew cross-country and near Elkhead, Missouri at someplace called Mammoth Spring, I saw this track and thought of you. Still amazed at you taking up motocross.
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

Good stuff OG!
That track looks awesome...really long and stretched out for some high speed. Most of the tracks I race on are a lot smaller than that.
Thanks for sharing!
