I love legacy Hornets, so sexy and feminine looking, especially when wearing pretty blue and gold 'lingerie'. The Tomcat by comparison is masculine looking to me, while the Super Hornet is gender confused.

Wow ! Does anyone know if those are "insider's jobs", ie. the Air Force's very own graphic department, or are those generally out sourced to some packaging / product design firms ? Seriously... I just see way too much graphic-design sense in that first shot to be a military job !
Cheers, Slug

This machine is terrorizing Montrealers making them cower in fear, and what about people from other countries who came here to flee war. Why are we thinking of them!

Not too long ago I saw a youtube video about Canadian Hornets that featured unusual paintjobs. Turns out, all of them are done by one artist who's a current serving airman. And sometimes he goes way out of his way to have lots of symbolism in the scheme. But no, none of them are farmed out to marketing firms or design firms!

I wish that CF-18 hit one of my local air shows, I saw the Tiger one years back when I was shooting film, that was amazing. This lady does some fantastic jobs for the Navy. I follow her on Instagram and FB and even saw one of her helos when I was outside NAS North Station
Beautiful bird! I'd love to see that in the wild. Great job and I hope it inspires pride and patriotism for Canada's people. They should name her "Cotton Jenny." And man I can hear this playing loud over the speakers as she does an airshow routine overhead:
