That "Captain" at 28 looks very young.... maybe for the "captain" rank itself, but it was a pretty standard age to be a uboat commander, heck by the end of the war they were sending out 20yr olds as commanders!

Got some good laughs out of here A Kaleun with 28 years would already be considered as old in those times, the crew was mostly between 17 and 20. The old assholes sending them to war need young dumb sheep for fuel.I guess the film will be even worse than what we heard here. Sky TV here is a private channel, better known for their to-be-paid-for sports reports, and for crappy own productions. It will be entertainment at best, like Flyboys or the recent Red Baron, only submerged (just like the quality level).

I'm going to laugh and laugh when this movie bombs. I hope it wrecks the director's career. Hopefully the studio spends a few hundred million on making the thing too.
What is wrong with the movie industry these days, why can they not come up with something new? Idiots. This is will be a tv miniseries, not a theatrical release.

Das Bootie? A politically correct WWII mini-series might be quite entertaining......might....maybe... Nahhhhhhhh.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

"Das Boot : Into Darkness" - with Benedict Cumberbatch, Jennifer Lawrence,Chris Pratt, Shia Labeouf as "The Krazy Kraut", Dame Judi Dench as the voice in the captain's head, and Daniel Day Lewis as the U-Boat.
LOL, Daniel Day Lewis as the U-Boat. I suppose if somebody had to act a U-Boat you could do a lot worse.
