First person shooter? Pass. I loved the old RTS-style Warhammer 40K games, but DoW III is still £30.

Picked up Cities Skylines and the After Dark DLC. So far seems like a good one!

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck.”

I've just blown $1.49 on Terra Nova.
This game used to support the VFX-1 headset, so I'm sure they've adapted it to work with my Vive.
This is going to be awesome!

X Plane 11 is one sale. So are the X-Wing series games. Company of Heroes series as well. All good titles.

VERY fun co-op. Not so much SP, too easy to get overwhelmed. Cool game.

Ok so I lied. I ended up buying "Alien Colonial Marines" for 6 bucks and "Alien Isolation" plus all of the DLC's for 12 bucks.

"Alien Isolation" is without a doubt the scariest game I've played since the original FEAR.

Is this still the train wreck it was at release or was it patched to an acceptable level?

I bought it because you can play the campaign in coop mode and I played it for a a couple of hours on Sunday and I didn't notice any major bugs. The enemy AI is a bit dumb but no worse really than any other shooter.

I definitively recommend that you apply TemplarGFX's mod for Colonial Marines. It enables a lot of the graphic effects missing from the release, and improves the AI of the NPC Marines and the aggressiveness of the Xenos. Also improves on weapon stats. One of the worse issues I found on vanilla was the wimpy Pulse Rifle they modeled in this.

Will the mod cause an issue with multiplayer if the other person is not using it? I don't plan on playing this in single player mode.

Yes, all co-op players would need the mod installed.
