I have the il2 WW1 BAT and that runs Ok on another 500 gb SSD drive I have no other games.

I have no problems with my PC it is just exiting WOFFUE the sound problem I did use CTRL+ALT+DEL to see if WOFF was still running but it did not show up afer I exited it.

PC Spec Windows 7 64bit
250gb Samsung SSD with O/S
Intel i5 4690K @3.50 GHZ
16 GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 1060 3gb

Have dissabled all add-ons in JSGME still have problem any one any ideas ?

Never had any issues like that reported so likely a PC issue. Is it after flying or after closing WOFF manager? WOFF doesn't do anything weird with sounds just uses standard sound calls and media player for movies whatever so very likely a PC issue... First port of call update sound card drivers. Update motherboard chipset drivers.

Thanks for quick reply, yes I think it is a PC issue but it only happens when when I close a quick combat (flying) and so I have to close WOFF then when I am at the desk top the sound is still there so I reboot and all is well.

If I just load WOFF and the music playing and exit WOFF with out any flying I have no sound problem.

The only new driver recently installed is the latest Nvidia card to the latest I will look at the sound driver and M/B chipset drivers.

Will do more tests good job I have a SSD drive WOFF and Windows loads a lot faster.

Thanks for your input.

Check your audio connectors, somtimes they get worn out.

Thank you for your all your help.

I have sorted it out it seems the on board Realtek sound on the Asus Z97 PRO GAMER M/B is not working spent so many hours with checking and installing diffrent drivers it showed all was working but no sound.

So I had a Asus Xonar DG sound card in my draw and dissabled the on board sound in my bios and installed the sound card and all is working now and I have better sound and that helps as I am quiet death and have to wear headphones.

WOFF UE works great again.

Great olddog - I did similar to fix some sound problems in Windows 10 when Skype magically would no longer use my Asus motherboard realtek sound card even though windows used it fine.. after faffing around I just bought a new sound card and plugged it in, voila working.

Well I do not know how to say this but the sound problem has returned, when I exit any of WOFFUE and it only happens with WOFF I have Flightgear, il2 and ROF no problems.

The good news is to stop the buzzing I pause WOFF and then Ctrl +Q to exit the sim and all is ok I have no need to reboot.

Just thought I would let you know never a dull day with a PC. Looks like I am the only person in the world with this problem with WOFF I am a lucky guy, I can live with pausing the sim.

Reason for this asking is that Steam does have an very good free driver update tool. It is from IObit, only while the free version of IObit itself only find the easily to find yourself drivers like Vcard and audio chipset drivers, the Steam version is somewhat different in also finding the more hidden ones.

It could be you have an driver conflict, like from old leftovers.

Thanks for your reply.

My PC has a new install of Windows 7 64bit on a 250gb Samsung SSD I also have a 500gb Samsung SSD running ROF, Flightgear, and il2 BAT. WOFF is on my 250gb drive with Windows no other on that drive, I did have the on board Realtec sound when I installed the O/S and after the problem with the Woff sound installed the Asus sound card and for a while all was ok it has just reapeared.

Like I say it is no problem I just pause WOFF and then exit and all is ok, the music is still playing but this go's when I exit.

Hope you can understand I am not to good explaining..

Make sure you have the latest sound card drivers from your motherboard manufacturer, also realtek you can install later ones from Realtek.
Make sure your motherboard chipset drivers are all up to date.
Install DirectX 9 as per the FAQ too.
