Hi everyone,

does somebody happen to have an aircraft skin of Charles Nungessers black hearted Nieuport(s)?
They dont seem to be present in the skins folder.
Quite odd for such a famous ace.

The skin is called Off_spad13_Ace_t_Esc 65 1918_Charles Eugene Jules Marie_Nungesser.dds.

Hi Fullofit, Hermani did mention Nieuport - not Spad.

Charles Nungessers Nieuport skin from 1916 does not have the black heart.

My bad. That will teach me to skim over the text. Thanks for making it right Stache. As far as I can tell there are only 2 skins: the SPAD and the Nieuport form 1916 mentioned by Stache. We're missing this at least:

Yes, there are indeed only those 2 skins available at the time. If I remember correct Nungesser flew the majority of his career in the paint scheme posted above by Fullofit.

He even kept flying nieuports after his squadron changed to Spad fighters.
He flew the Spad 13 eventually by the summer of 1918.

I can crank out that skin in quick time if anyone wants it - but not until I get back from Cyprus on the 11th.

Ok - I'll do the skin when I get back.
1. If you name the skin exactly as the in-game version, then backup the existing skin before replacing it with the new skin, it should show up in that slot.
Just replace the same named skin in the skins folder in campaign data.
2. Give the new skin you're own pilot name and drop it into the skins folder. Make sure the file name follows the same format as the existing skins. Then you should be able to select the skin in QC missions.

The Nieuport 17 and or Nieuport 24 version would be fantastic.
If I'm correct the Nieuport 17 skin can be used for the Nieuport 23,
and the Nieuport 24 for the Nieuport 27 by renaming the skin.

Hope you can view the pics. I'm having a difficult time understanding how to make them appear large.

Gentlemen;

I have placed a zipped "My Custom Skins" mod on my dropbox for use with JSGME. All you need to do is unzip, place the "My Custom Skins" folder into your "MODS" folder and then add any skins you make to the nested folder shown below in the picture.

This way you can easily revert to stock WOFF by removing the mod and you don't need to do copy and rename of any stock WOFF files. THe mod currently has one skin in it and you can remove it if you like and add your own.

You can download a zip with three Nungesser skins:
Nieuport 17 (Vickers gun)
Nieuport 17 (Lewis gun)
Nieuport 24 Bis (Vickers gun).

He used the same serial number of 1895 on several different Nieuport types.
