Top three look like Stalin, Hitler and Churchill. Not sure about the lower three.

You can spot Churchill's smug little face a mile away, double-chin or not. Admire the man but he always had that smug look.

I knew it had to be Stalin. Going down the list I'd say Hitler, Churchill, FDR.

I do not know Hirohito or Mussolini by face well enough to be certain, but a guess would be those.

Doesn't Stalin look like a kid who would have spent a LOT of time in juvenile hall had he grown up in the US? biggrin

Is the Duce wearing a skirt?

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

According to Wikipedia, the last image is Eugenio Pacelli (Pope Pius XII), not Mussolini. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Pius_XII

Edit: With regard to boys in dresses, see also Wikipedia:
Quote
Breeching was the occasion when a small boy was first dressed in breeches or trousers. From the mid-16th century until the late 19th or early 20th century, young boys in the Western world were unbreeched and wore gowns or dresses until an age that varied between two and eight.

Easily done, PanzerMeyer. I've learned the hard way not to trust images unless they come directly from a credible source. Google image search routinely gets things wrong.

This is the earliest photo I can find of Mussolini that I think we can be reasonably certain is actually him: a mugshot from 1903: [Linked Image]

He would have been almost 20 years old then. Got arrested in Bern, Switzerland for political agitation.
