JimmyBii , This is my experience with using the hat switch on my
Saitek Flight stick for EECH.
When mouselook is set to ON in options , The Hat switch on your flightstick is automatically disabled permanently.
Set mouselook to OFF. This will allow your Hat switch to work.
Also ,don't worry ! Even with mouselook set to off , it is in fact still enabled and usable in the game.
Works with Flir and PFZ screens. Also ,if you want to switch back and forth from "Hat switch" to "mouse" in game ,simply click the middle mouse button. This will disable the Flightstick Hat and enable the mouse for use in cockpit view as well as F5 outerview. You may click it again to return to HAt switch function.
You may do this during flight as long as mouselook is set to OFF in the options menu. You do not need to set an option for use of hat switch in settings ! The only two settings I have set for my Flightstick are Cyclic Roll and Cyclic Pitch.
Everything else is set to keyboard. Yet, My Hat switch is very much functional and EECH detects it just fine ,as long as mouselook it set to OFF.
As far as Throttle / Collective . . . Your stick should show up in the settings. Not sure why it isn't.
