Check her out in the movie "About Last Night" then. She was a couple of years older but still gorgeous as heck.

Just binge watched Netflix original comedy 'Santa Clarita Diet' with Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant. The best zombie comedy I have seen.

I've never heard of it. Speaking of Barrymore, I can't even remember the last time I saw her in a movie!

Just watched "She's Funny That Way." Hilarious. If you like Woody Allen or Larry David, I highly recommend it.

M. Night Shyamalan's movie Split.

Yes, I watched a Shamalayadingdong movie....and it was GREAT!

He is best with a low budget and a simple idea. The tension this builds towards the ending is top notch. He does it the way it should...start small and unremarkable, and by the end, I was chewing the couch's pillows. I guess this will give any teen girl nightmares for years.

Nice nudge, tie-in to something else at the end....I won't spoil it.

That said, I also recommend 10 Cloverfield Lane. Give that one a chance to develop if you watch it. Ending comes completely from left field.

I definitely plan on seeing "Split" when it's available on pay per view. You are absolutely right in your analysis Bib. Low budget horror is definitely in M Night's wheelhouse. He's had 2 big low budget horror hits in a row now.

I liked Split a lot. MacAvoy is truly amazing in this movie and his performance is on line with Sally Fields' performance from Sybil. I thought his ability to transfer from one character/personality to another was remarkable and believable.

I've liked McAvoy a lot since I saw him in the "Children of Dune" miniseries way back in 2003.

Master Ninja is just two episodes from the TV series "The Master" that starred Lee Van Cleef. I actually watched, and remember liking it, it when it aired.

I would have been 12 when that show originally aired but I don't remember seeing it. Demi looked gorgeous. smile

Sadly, in the late 70s and early 80s my sister loved the Soap General Hospital. Demi played a mentally disturbed girl who supposedly shot someone but they never could find the gun or some such nonsense. She had it hidden in her doll that she carried around all the time. She was still about 20 or so and played younger for the soap but that's where I remember seeing her first. Blame it on Rio was one of if not first movies with Michael Caine. She was the object de titillation in the movie.

I'll have to revisit that Dune series. I don't remember McAvoy.

He played the lead role! He was Leto II.

I finally decided to give Babylon 5 a go and finished the first season.
I don't know why I waited this long.

Most fans agree that season one was the weakest so if you are already hooked then you are in for a great ride!

After finally getting over my Homeland addiction I became hooked on the whole 7 seasons of The Good Wife. I thought Homeland was emotionally involving but The Good Wife gave me more ups and downs than a than a 5 cent pony ride.

I put off watching the acclaimed Good Wife (like most males) for a long time because the title threw me off but I finally jumped in with my ticket to ride, and like the Sopranos, it is one of those series that you really hope will not end because the acting and characters are so good that each episode is like visiting with best friends or loved ones.

( Spoiler Ahead)

Also like Homeland, the Good Wife hit hard with the death of a favorite, much loved character and after such event I vowed to never watch another episode but, of course, hooked I was till final curtain.

I finished watching all the episodes of the new Mystery Science Theater 3000 show on Netflix last night.

The core of the show remains the same, and the jokes are still good. I like Jonah, the new host. Good chemistry and riffing with the robots (with 30% more Game of Thrones references than the original!). Although I am not sure on the changes with Gypsy's "voice modulator".

Felicia Day and Patton Oswalt as the mad scientists were generally "meh!".

One thing that was added was the inclusion of guest stars appearing as "visitors" to the station once in awhile. Very weird appearance by Mark Hamill at some point.

Is it worse than the original? No. But it does not feel as much as a complete package. More like "MST3K on the road" to me.

Watched Michael Keaton playing Ray Kroc ( who made McDonald's famous) in "The Founder".

Interesting movie, where the main character is both someone to admire and a total douchenozzle.

Actually Blame it on Rio is one of her early movies where she wasn't, it was Michelle Johnson. Demi Moore was Michelle Johnson's characters friend and Michael Caine was Demi's dad in the movie.
