Just binge watched Netflix original comedy 'Santa Clarita Diet' with Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant. The best zombie comedy I have seen. I've never heard of it. Speaking of Barrymore, I can't even remember the last time I saw her in a movie!

I definitely plan on seeing "Split" when it's available on pay per view. You are absolutely right in your analysis Bib. Low budget horror is definitely in M Night's wheelhouse. He's had 2 big low budget horror hits in a row now.

I also watched "Master Ninja" from MST3K recently. Its claim to fame is having a very young (21 year old) Demi Moore in it which was well before she made it big with "Ghost". Master Ninja is just two episodes from the TV series "The Master" that starred Lee Van Cleef. I actually watched, and remember liking it, it when it aired. Wheels I would have been 12 when that show originally aired but I don't remember seeing it. Demi looked gorgeous. Sadly, in the late 70s and early 80s my sister loved the Soap General Hospital. Demi played a mentally disturbed girl who supposedly shot someone but they never could find the gun or some such nonsense. She had it hidden in her doll that she carried around all the time. She was still about 20 or so and played younger for the soap but that's where I remember seeing her first. Blame it on Rio was one of if not first movies with Michael Caine. She was the object de titillation in the movie.

I've liked McAvoy a lot since I saw him in the "Children of Dune" miniseries way back in 2003. I'll have to revisit that Dune series. I don't remember McAvoy.

I finally decided to give Babylon 5 a go and finished the first season. I don't know why I waited this long. Most fans agree that season one was the weakest so if you are already hooked then you are in for a great ride!

After finally getting over my Homeland addiction I became hooked on the whole 7 seasons of The Good Wife. I thought Homeland was emotionally involving but The Good Wife gave me more ups and downs than a than a 5 cent pony ride.
I put off watching the acclaimed Good Wife (like most males) for a long time because the title threw me off but I finally jumped in with my ticket to ride, and like the Sopranos, it is one of those series that you really hope will not end because the acting and characters are so good that each episode is like visiting with best friends or loved ones.
( Spoiler Ahead)
Also like Homeland, the Good Wife hit hard with the death of a favorite, much loved character and after such event I vowed to never watch another episode but, of course, hooked I was till final curtain.

Demi Moore was Michelle Johnson's characters friend and Michael Caine was Demi's dad in the movie. Wheels
