I've been doing some "In-Situ Resource Utilization" (ISRU) in KSP lately and have a pretty good Munar ore drilling and conversion process going on. I drill the ore, processed into fuel and the haul it up to a fuel depot in Munar orbit, return to Munar surface and repeat.

Here the transfer tanker rendezvous and docks with the Munar orbital fuel depot.

This is the surface drilling and processing facility. It consists of two vehicle that were flown to the Mun separately. The main section consists of solar cells, radiators, fuel storage, 10 drills, small ore processing plant, small ore storage and monopropellant storage tank along with the rocket engines needed to land and wheels to relocate. The secondary section is a large group of batteries so that drilling/processing can continue in the long Munar night.

This is a shot of my simpler ISRU setup for use farther from Kerbin. This one is at Dres, there is a lander that is equipped with drills, converter, holding tanks etc that can fly up to and dock with the in orbit fuel depot, transfer most of the fuel etc. and return to the surface to continue drilling and converting. I have an almost exact duplicate of this setup at Duna's moon Ike.

The second shot is a docking in progress between the Dres Orbital Fuel Depot and my crewed Dres Explorer craft, so it has enough fuel to return to Kerbin.

This last shot is of my little Duna base, I like it because it shows how other planets appear from the surface of Duna. I can't recall the which or what, but I know the ones visible include Kerbin, Moho and Eve.
