Hello, I'm using the airfield compilation from the WoFF mods site that makes certain airfields in to mini time machines and I have to report that Boistrancourt has some serious problems regarding aircraft spawns and landing approaches. First, upon spawning it is occasionally the case that aircraft seem to be being "dropped in" due to some elevation issue which causes problems (broken planes) but the AI are perfectly capable of getting airborne from Boistrancourt. I haven't had problems with my spawn since I did a clean reinstall of WoFF. The second problem is landing, I have provided an illustration to assist in comprehension: As you can see, the AI tend to make their landing run from a very dangerous vector, full of nasty things and then they touch down inside a large depression on the Western side of the airfield that often sends them rocketing skyward for one final flight before they smash themselves to bits. I have submitted a big green arrow that represents the approach I make to the airfield, this approach makes more sense since I can reuse my aircraft most of the time upon attempting it. If the AI could be vectored along my Pilto approved vector and working South, touching down before reaching the big depression on the W side of the field and rolling through it then they might stand a better chance of getting down in one piece (Even if it is one slightly damaged piece instead of several very damaged pieces) Anyway, it's a fun airfield to fly from, full of challenges!

Jimmy;
I tested out the airfield and you are correct but something has changed because the runways were straight and smooth before. Now the height of land has deep furrows in it that are causing the problem. Also the aircraft lineup at takeoff has some how changed. This is RAF_Louverts mod and it was perfect before. I know because I tested it extensively. It will have to be looked at and fixed. I will PM Lou to see if he knows anything about it.
Best Regards;
Further update: I think I know what the problem is and I will work on resolving it in the next day or so.

Ah good show RW, I'm glad it's not just me. And yes, the aircraft lineup is prone to oddities but not always. Sometimes everyone spawns facing the same direction, sometimes the more Southerly aircraft bounce around and rotate through 45 degrees to face more or less NW. Sometimes they bounce too much and break.

Keep an eye out for it. Cheers

JimmyBlonde;
I have fixed the mod and it is currently being uploaded to my dropbox for pickup by Sandbagger. Hopefully he will be able to post it by tomorrow. Be sure to read the readme file accompanying the updated mod before installing it. It will save you considerable time.

Thanks for sorting this out Robert, much appreciated. I'm still on the road so I have no way of looking into such things. What was the issue anyway? The mod had been working fine and I haven't made any changes to it.

It was not a problem with your mod. It was a problem with the consolidated mod. I sent you a PM yesterday explaining the details.
Cheers mate.

Aaah, OK, I didn't check my mail, only popped in for a quick look around before I begin my day of travels. Thanks again Robert.

Looks like it's been updated on the Woffmods site, nice work, downloading now.
The coccyx bones of Jasta 5 thank you.
