Yeah, not even Michael Fassbender's awesomeness could save that one.

This script was too slow and over expository. But also the whole Animus part was soooo boring. It would had been a better film with only the action scenes in Spain, and then reveal the Animus at the end.

I had to LOL at the crime Fassbender's character committed to be in death row... he killed... a Pimp! hahaha

If anything this movie makes me appreciate Warcraft more (as a video game based movie).

Looks like we are getting another 2 Big Bang Theory seasons. What they ought to do is just let it go. Some of the top stars took a pay cut to allow Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik more money.

I think Galeki,Parsons and Cuoco get $1,000,000 an episode? 24 episodes in a season. That's just insane.

Surprised to see they are still doing 24 per season. It seems that most seasons are 13 episodes or less these days.

I'm not sure if the present season will be 24 (where are we now,18?),or indeed if the 2 new ones will be 24. Still,a million dollars an episode seems quite a lot but I guess if the viewing numbers are there, those sort of salaries are the result.

It's a half hour comedy on a major network and it's still a huge ratings hit.

It's really mostly 1 hour dramas that have gone down to the 13 episode per season format.

Not sure about the number of episodes for the next two years but they did 24 for season 10.

The difference now is that they are spreading them out over a longer period and taking breaks of two to three weeks between new episodes instead of running them 24 weeks in a row. and showing reruns.

I guess that makes sense considering that would be 26 half hour episodes.

Rogue One was really great indeed. I'll most likely buy in on bluray.

Just saw Bleed for this,

Miles Teller, Aaron Eckhart, Katey Sagal

very good movie, was a little slow, but Miles Teller is really becoming a good actor. I remember him first in the remake of Footloose and he was excellent in Whiplash!

saw the new Kong movie on Monday night, little over the top obviously but overall it was pretty good. Better than I expected.

Wasn't it amazing just how perfect Brie Larson's makeup and hair remained throughout the film?

Hollywood seem incapable of portraying military aircraft in any sort of realistic manner. I can't remember the film (there were probably quite a few) but they had Predator drones flying at rooftop level.

You mean the potentially Pulitzer Prize winning photographer who had a cover of TIME magazine and didn't snap a picture of Kong while in the helicopter? She had ONE job and failed.

Saw Ghost in the Shell today. Other than the original Mad Max I find dystopian society movies tedious and hopeless. I just don't care for them no matter how I try. Blade Runner et al don't float my boat. But I still went to see this. The story was well laid out. The environments and effects were spectacular. Scarlett... ahhhh Scarlett. She's amazing looking in this. But I felt the movie had no heart - though considering the plot it could have and SHOULD have. I give it a C+ for effort.

The preview of Dunkirk had Spits in three plane formation as opposed to the later finger four pattern. I'm not positive when during the war that GB changed formation but I thought it was a nice detail if the timing was correct.

I watch a movie every night, and have a hard time remembering what they were, unless they were stunningly fantastic. In the past year and a half, I can name a few that stood out:

Hardware (sci-fi perfection)
The Caller (incredible dialogue)
The Hot Spot (way underrated)
Aliens (still amazing thirty years later)
Girl House (a modern slasher movie?!)
Network (quite possibly the best dialogue ever written in a film)
Nightcrawler
The Quiet Earth (stands out but the plot could have been better developed--not as good as the others but a neat take on the whole wake up and everyone else is dead genre)
Hell or High Water (flawless editing)

There's probably only a few more. Maybe. I know I'm forgetting one or two. And I'm not listing the majority of the classics I've revisited which are still on top of their game.
