I have a PC that I have put together from parts and pieces. The motherboard is ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3. I was able to install Windows 7 just fine and also Ubuntu.
When I try to get on the internet after bring up the Windows 7 OS, I get message "Install a driver for your network adapter.".
Doing some searching I find this is a common issue.
But I am a bit confused at just what I am wanting to download. The Windows 7 message says 'network adapter' but is the driver a 'LAN Driver' or a Ethernet Utility?
When I went to ASUS and searched for a 'network adapter' I did not find anything. The closet thing I can find is here:
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A78LMUSB3/HelpDesk_Download/And it has several area like 'Qualified Vendor List' and 'BIOS' and 'LAN'. I think what I want is under LAN.
But there are many items under that and my best guess is the top one, but only because it is the top one.
Please help!
