That's an entertaining video. I guess there is a place in this world for a foldable, somewhat portable, DESKTOP PC
Sapphire Pulse RX7900XTX, 3 monitors = 23P (1080p) + SAMSUNG 32" Odyssey Neo G7 1000R curve (4K/2160p) + 23P (1080p), AMD R9-7950X (ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 420), 64GB RAM@6.0GHz, Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER MB, (4x M.2 SSD + 2xSSD + 2xHD) = ~52TB storage, EVGA 1600W PSU, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower, ASUS RT-AX89X 6000Mbps WiFi router, VKB Gladiator WW2 Stick, Pedals, G.Skill RGB KB, AORUS Thunder M7 Mouse, W11 Pro

It all can be summed up to "gaming". It's just a matter of putting "gaming" on anything and sell it at ridiculous prices.
... well that and putting "predator", "dragon", "black" or "X" in its name.
When you're feeling sad, just remember that somewhere in the world, there's someone pushing a door that says "pull".

If you can blow that much on a laptop you can afford a "computer bearer" to lug it around for you too.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

I don't know about that particular laptop but certainly with mine, unless it was on mains power you were restricted to the Intel HD chipset which pretty much made it useless for games if you only had battery power. I'll never buy another gaming laptop that's for sure.

"Gaming" and "laptop" should never be used in the same sentence, IMHO! Unless, of course, "gaming" consisted of Candy Crush and other Facebook "games"

If I had a job like truck driver or pilot and was constantly in different hotels, I could see getting a gaming notebook. I can't see spending more than even 1/3 that much, though. At about $3k you can get a notebook that will do damn near anything, granted with a 17" screen...but who wants to carry THAT monstrosity around?
Oh, and I think calling that a "laptop" is the most ridiculous sort of optimism. Want 3rd degree burns on your legs??

Wow! That is indeed overkill. I have had gaming laptops for last 10 years and they have indeed been great travel mates, when hooked to AC power and not on battery power. I could even see 2 17 inch screens, but 3 21 inch screens is over the top excessive. Admittedly as all above have pointed out, even my 17" laptops were on the heavy side for travel, but definitely worth the weight when I was TDY for 14-45 days.
Now that I have retired, still like the gaming laptop but have now basically made it a smaller desktop with the addition of the graphics amplifier.
Thanks for sharing that tidbit from CES. I always wanted to go there but would likely leave there very delusional, after the sensory overload of new electronic toys.
Laptop: Alienware M17 R3 i7-6820MQ 32 GB DDR3 1600Mhz memory, Win10 Pro 64 bit, DX11, 24GB GTX 980M video Alienware Graphics Amplifier w GTX 1080 Strix Edition 8GB A-10 Warthog HOTAS Joystick w/ Pedals
