"Few places offer as much decrepitude, congestion, or inconvenience as LaGuardia and Newark Liberty airports, both of which are warrens of passenger misery. These two took top honors as the lowest-ranked North American airports in the 2016 J.D. Power study of airport satisfaction" I always suspected our Houston airport sucked - & so it really does https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-12-15/these-are-the-worst-airports-in-america

Unless my eyes deceive me, they're missing one of the buisest airports in the US... "As the dominant airport in the Southern United States and the nation's busiest in terms of passengers handled (mainly due to being Delta's flagship hub), an old joke in the South quips that, upon one's death, regardless of whether one goes to Heaven or Hell one will connect in Atlanta to get there." IMHO, nothing is worse than Chicago's O'hare for being an overwhelming experience. Thank God for Midway airport and rental cars. I remember one tine they were thinking of closing Midway. Ugh !

You're right, Houston blows.
Delayed flight out of Charlotte a couple of years ago, missed my flight out of Houston. Stood in line for at least two hours to get rescheduled, and by the time I got it done all hotels were full and all restaurants were closed in the airport. I had to go to the USO (that was ready to close) and they gave me a sandwich and a cot to sleep on out in the Intl terminal floor. Thankfully they had a USO or I would have had to sleep on the actual floor...lol.
I would have thought DFW would have been ranked a little higher. Easy to get everywhere with the trams, and a lot to do while waiting. I like it better than Charlotte that's ranked higher...lol.
ATL that's not listed because it's probably below all of them is just too big and slightly confusing. Not much time between flights mean you almost have to run to get to your connecting flight that's two miles away in the terminal...lol.

I'll give u my phone number but just don't let Panzer have it or i might get porn sent to me ....or who knows what ?! LOL, thanks for the invitation brother. The whole thing leading up to ending up in Houston was a totally messed up day anyway. I was heading to Tucson for Hawgsmoke at DMAFB, Supposed to fly early (0630) with everyone else on my team to Chicago and then Tucson, like every other time I fly there civilian (when its not on a C-130 or KC-135). My name got dropped off of the itinerary somehow and I had to take a later flight from home (1530) and ended up in Charlotte. One flight attendant was running late for some reason so we were delayed about 30 minutes, then a thunderstorm hit right when we boarded and didn't take off for two hours because of lightning (ramp worker safety outside), Got to Houston and I watched my connecting flight taxi out as we pulled in. After waiting in line for about two hours for everyone who was delayed it was after 2300 when I found the USO where the lady working there was freaking out because she was supposed to be closed already but some vets had already called ahead to reserve a cot. Luckily I got there just in time...lol. I was exhausted. One silver lining. The next day I was still tired and angry while waiting for the first flight to Tucson. They called for the usual first boarders...club members, first class, military on orders, etc. Usually I just wait, but I pulled my military card and just wanted to get on the plane so I went up to the lady. She took my ID and then upgraded me to first class. WIN!

OH MY GOD !! The Americans have taken over Toronto I can't stand Toronto airport and change planes in Montreal if I can. I don't blame you! I can't stand ALL airports ... getting in and out as quick as possible is my only objective. I do know of a cozy little regional island airport in Toronto though ... If Toronto is included in the US then I'd have to add Cancun (CUN) Mexico as one of the top airports. Holy crap, there's an entire mall in the airport. I wish I had more time to explore that airport! I did eat at "Bubba Gump Shrimp Company" restaurant...lol.

Really? Orlando and Vegas rank that close together? When I was at them last I would've ranked Vegas much higher than Orlando. Dump the stupid slot machines and Vegas would go up even more. I can't believe Orlando ranks that high.
I don't see Atlanta on that list, did I miss it? I hate Atlanta. Luckily I never had to fly out of Ft Laud, apparently it's that much worse than MIA?
Haven't been to Newark in maybe 30 years, looks like I'll keep it that way!

One of my favorite moments from a GI Joe cartoon in the 80s was two guys driving a truck where the passenger was reading a tabloid: "Aliens visit Hoboken! Newark I could believe, but Hoboken??"

I've been to several of these... didn't strike me as bad at all. They're airports, full of people, you never know where you are and where you need to go, and so on... And I'm sorry but Atlanta has (had?) a Delta's smokers room in gate 27B or thereabouts. That's the best airport in the world if you ask me... Specially if you get stuck 'cos a freaking volcano decided that you had to spend the night at the airport.
When you're feeling sad, just remember that somewhere in the world, there's someone pushing a door that says "pull".

Any "Worst Airport" list that doesn't include Little Rock is incomplete.

Any "Worst Airport" list that doesn't include Little Rock is incomplete. Wow, people actually fly INTO Little Rock?
