Had a good snow storm yesterday and now the winds are re-arranging it all again.
Drifting something terrible. But that is the least of it. Temps stayed around 10F
all night and now they falling fast. Right now its 2F and looking to get a little
chilly tonight.

New Ulm, MN in the deep freeze tonight

Temps in Lubbock, TX are dropping to 10 F by early evening, currently wind chill is -4

Yes, I'd like to come and visit should we find ourselves traveling into MN. Thank you and it will likely be in the warmer months

I know what you mean, I'm really struggling on whether I will have to carry a light jacket in the truck or not.

Finally? As in..."I really like this stuff?"
I saw that it's going to be 32 degrees tomorrow in Keller Texas, where we were living. It makes me very happy that we moved to Florida. I seriously hate the cold weather.

Going down to -31F with -50 windchills here tonight. Don`t think it would a good time for
a visit. Will have to get up early again and blow off the drifting snow.

Don`t mind the cold as much as I hate the Hot weather. I can always wear warmer clothes.

Really cold weather is good from time to time, kills off a lot of bugs and vermin.

T-shirt and shorts weather for me.

Yep, couldn't agree more. This is when I go get the hornet's nests that pop up time to time in the summer. They are not so tough in 10 degree weather.

WE've been with a wind chill factor of -25 to -30 F the past few days. We had 8-10 inches of snow too, and we expect 3 more tonight. Tomorrow the high is subzero with wind chills 25-30 below and wind speed of 25 mph or so.

Yup, it's winter!

We slipped below zero at around 12pm and its now -3F. -24F wind chill at the moment.
Just got back in from blowing off my drifting that practically closed off my driveways.
Sucks when you can only blow it one direction, with the wind. Not always helpful.

Will have to go out again later tonight since its still blowing and drifting. Fills
right back up. At least no, no heat calls. So far.

unbelievable - most Texans who would have moved for the first time to MN would have died from that .... their cold, lifeless bodies found under the snow in their front yards

Thirty minutes ago it was 80 degrees here, but fifteen miles away in the county seat it was already 54 degrees. The front hit here five minutes ago and it's already dropped to 63. It's supposed to drop to the high teens tonight with a 30-35 mph wind. We MIGHT break freezing tomorrow.

Not suppose to get above zero here till Monday afternoon. High Sunday here predicted -8F.
Just came back from the store and its profile to get in the doors is brutal with the North
wind blowing and its only -7F right now. Sun is going down and the temp is going with it
fast. Have to go get the wife from Walmart at 6pm. She did not bring a hat and gloves.
Dropped her off at the door. Made sure I threw them in the car when I go get her.

We had three snow falls this week. There is about 30-40 cm on the ground, not counting the drifts. It does not get that cold here so the snow is wet and heavy and it gets breezy. Yesterday the wind speed at the airport was 110 kph. Here's a picture of the north of the province about 10-12 years back smile

And in front of my house a few winters back. smile

I F#@king HATE snow !!!

I don't mind the cold so much, but absolutely hate windchill! Our temp was 0F on Thursday with a windchill of -25 while I was working on the flightline. When I went out for a smoke and stood behind a bush in the sun to block the wind it felt comfortable...lol.
