BF4, the same, Star Wars Battlefront, the same... that is why I have vowed never to buy another game from them until it is cheap as a bag of soggy chips in a sale smile

I kinda agree, don't even like playing without known friends anymore... still don't feel that way about BF4 thou, rarely play it but still like going back to it once in a while... so many maps and modes. Not as exciting as it was last year but still not as boring as BF1 has gotten.

I'm not bored with it yet, but the lack of different weapons is unfortunate.

I've come across a few sessions where there was actual teamwork in the squad, but for the most part it's been every person for themselves.

I've also been plagued by the blasted DirectX/graphics card error, which crashes the game often. It seems to be more prevalent on certain maps, so I basically play on only half the available maps.
For reference: https://forums.battlefield.com/en-us/dis...1-16-18-57-cest

I think a lot of people have given up on the game already. I tried to join a War Pigeons game a couple of times and there wasn't even enough people to quickmatch a game.

And NOW would be the perfect time to gather the roaming sheep to organize private realistic/tactical sessions.

The game offers a good array for tactical venture.

A subtle distinction should then materialize between the game mechanics and its participants, as the tactical operations unfold.

I'm having a blast, and I love the weapons. Ultimately, the choice of guns in gaming terms is a ROF/damage/accuracy equation, and all the play styles are covered. I don't feel I need 17 variants of an AK-74 to enjoy the game. The fact that aimed shots are needed in a world without 600rpm assault rifles and eight mags is a nice change of pace.

Good point lol.

Looks like some deals showing up for it, currently $30 for shipped code, seeing if the digital code drops to same.

I would suggest if you haven't already tried it to give Titanfall 2 a shot, sort of a cross between Halo and MechWarrior/Heavy Gear. I think there is a BF1/Titanfall 2 double package available on XBOX One that was about $70 Canadian (about $50 USD I think) for both games this weekend. I think it is still on sale.

Bought it @ Black Friday

So far I have about 9 hours of MP and lvl 17.
I like the game per se, but so far the only ''downside'' I find compared to BF4/3 is not really the game's fault.
Players are a playing a lot less like a team, but rather individual.
I don't like the fact that you only have 10xp for an assit.... It was better before, when you had the amount of damaged you did

If you check, usually on a 32 playres team, there's about 3-4 medic...
Quite rare that I'm heal and/or revived, same thing for ammo....
I find that I'm lucky if I'm refilled more than one per game.

Also, people don't seem to embark a lot on vehicules
When I'm drving the Mk5 tank I always see foot soldiers passing by but it's rare it my 2 cannon are manned...

Sad... frown

It is sad... it just proves that most people that play these games are only into 'run and gun'...
That's why as an ex soldier I can't play these games. Well, online anyway... and it's another reason I wait until they are cheap as chips in a sale before I buy them, just to play the SP campaign element.

That can be a regular experience, but if I find myself as squad leader and start issuing sensible orders, the team PTFO pretty well, if only for the bonus points. If I'm in a squad of pilots and camping scouts, I switch pretty quickly.

Picked it up as well and enjoying it for what it is. Combat and effects can be fun and and had a couple good squads but there is a lot of Rambo going at times.

I just focus on the objective and my role but I'm level 10 and go SL when orders aren't being issued.

I would be up for squading with anyone, feel for to add me on origin.

If BF3 and BF4 maps were almagamated into the same game it would be great, but I enjoy BF3 and BF4 for what they are anyway. Haven't bought BF1 though and instead bought Squad and Insurgency. But I still find BF4 more fun than those games.

Kinda funny, I'm level 12 now and had never heard anyone use comms until late last night. Startled the crap out of me.

Yeah, Squad and Inurgency (and Arma) are awesome games in their own area, but every Battlefield was "easier" to enjoy to me: you can just jump in and in a couple of moments you'll be shooting/getting shot lol.

There times that you want somenthing more realistic, but sometimes you just want to feel good with your skills (that's why I play Competitive CSGO), or just see awesome and immersive graphics like in BF1.

I usually play this kind of games ~4hrs per week, so I never burnout on them. When everybody hits level 99 in BF I'm like 25 or something lol.

While the games look/sound great, they have very shallow gameplay and tactics that don't require much more than buying a weapon with the highest DPS. Yes there are some people with excellent sniper and flying skills that can go 50-2 at times; but when I watch youtube videos/streams it seems they know more of how to exploit the game than actual skills.

That, coupled with EA's terrible business practices makes any of them a "no sale" for me; although I do play BF1 because a friend bought it for me so we could team up (which does make it a little more fun). The fact that they monetized their servers with insane prices makes finding a populated custom server near impossible.

On the upside, once the "season pass" content is released, we will be left playing empty servers with noobs; so maybe it will make me feel like I'm good at the game heh
