So I tried this game a year ago
Bought a few of the expansions - then stopped playing because I was quite frankly rubbish at it
Saw UE last week, bought it - and decided to give it another go

Have only flown one mission
They decided on a two ship patrol with me leader - are you sure? it is my first day
I have just been posted so St Omer
Gave it a go anyway
Beautiful weather, not a cloud in the sky
The briefing told me to patrol at 6500 feet, I decided 11000 feet was a better option
Managed to surprise two enemy AC that were attempting to get home - I think they were Halberstadt D.II
My wingman got one, I got the other
Have just got the notifications - the claims have been recognised
I would like to thank whoever made the smoke and tracer mod I am running, without it I would never have seen where I was missing to make the adjustment
Also thanks to OBD - this latest build looks absolutely beautiful
I will happily fly around just to look at the landscapes and sunrises
Now that I have managed to have one victory in career mode, I am off to see if I can do it again
To be honest with you I think my problem a year ago was I was trying to fly all the aircraft like WW2 birds - Like I have been flying for the last 10 years (Il 2, Il 2 1946, Il 2 BoS etc etc etc)
Ie bundles of power and energy
It just does not work with these kites does it?
This time I approached the Pup as if it was a completely new aircraft that I had to learn its envelope and limits
Went much better this time
