Thanks again folks for the kudos, they are much appreciated and such encouragement keeps me going on these time and labour intensive projects.

Robert, I like the second example better, more realistic IMHO. One thing though if it's possible, the smoke needs to linger in the air longer and rise up higher as it does so.

here is the best I can come up with. Smoke stream is longer but affected by inherent wind in the sim so will not rise vertically.
