Hi chaps,

Not been around very much for a long time, hope everyone is keeping happy and well.

I'm having problems installing BoS on my new PC running Windows 10. I downloaded the installer from 1C's website but every time it runs it goes through the install and then when launching it reports a "can't find backend libaries" or similar error. I had not problems originally installing in Win 7. Kind or ironic as I now have a PC powerful enough to run it in all it's glory

Any help very much appreciated.

Hope we can get an resolution to this mate. If all else happens then I believe that I can port the game from my old PC to the new one as soon as I get a second DVI cable to hook up my old monitor.

I tried that (loaded BoS/BoM) on another computer, tried to start the game and had the same error. I'll try Win 7 compatibility mode next...

BTW, I lived for two years in a small UK village (250 souls) and loved every minute! We rented a thatched roof cottage that was built in 1642...

OK, install the files in the link provided in the "bin\game" folder -- it worked for me!
