Updated to 4.05a-4241, raced over to the Credits section and had " a thoroughly unsatisfactory encounter." Only silence . The mouse cursor did highlight the Next interview box which didn't happen before the update but clicking produced nothing.

Clearly, this is working on other machines so I'm wondering if there's a cache I need to delete or setting to tweak. I downloaded Matt Milne's excellent music pack and that plays without issue. Stumped and missing my "idiot Corporal." Any help greatly appreciated

Windows 7 Ultimate (until they pry it from my cold, dead fingers)

It's working fine, just something on your PC broken, windows media player? Do you have it? Odd codecs installed? Something around that anyway I'd say at a guess.

Yes, somethings clearly funky on my end. I did a clean reinstall of Windows 7 recently and since Windows update appears to be porked for Win 7 now, I manually installed updates using the Windows 7 SP1 convenience rollup as well as the April 2015 combined rollup. Is it just me or did Win 7 update work fine one day and then just get stuck?

Perhaps I need some additional codec for WMP. Are the interview files accessible in the install? While I would prefer to listen to them in game, I'm fine with playing them separately if that's possible.

Install Windows media player again maybe. I think they probably moved Windows 7 updates to a slow server in the bottom of a dark well.

The interviews are in the \campaigns\CampaignData\ShellMusic

Excellent. No joy yet in game but at least I can hear, once again, the tale of the idiot corporal and all the others. In all my years with OFF/WOFF I've never seen a list of those veterans being interviewed. I recognize Cecil Lewis' silky baritone but don't know the others.

I'd be most interested to know their identities.
