My pc's hardrive recently died, so once I got it fixed I of course had to get the TSH F-18 running, right?
As I was downloading everything, I found a download for the Valhalla Campaign, which I downloaded as well.
Now, the game is running fine again, but how do I "launch" that Campaign?

Which of course will only appear as an option if you've placed the Valahalla files in the proper location.

Here's what you need to do, Joe Airwolf.
1. Download Valhalla.
2. Place the .mcf file in your \Campaign folder
3. Place the .cmf files in your \Campaign\Mission folder
4. Download the up-to-date ctext.cmp file from the TSH website.
5. Place the ctexte.cmp file in your \Campaign\data folder, overwriting the previous version.

Now all of your files are in the right place, you are up to date with the campaign text, and you should see Valhalla in your campaign list in-game.

The Valhalla campaign and the up-to-date ctexte.cmp file can be found here.

Hello Joe and Fuzzy, and thanks.
I didn't do all the steps you listed, Joe, but it was where Fuzzy said it was.
One tip for anyone starting the campaign is to check your options first. It had defaulted to casual autopilot, unlimited fuel, etc, even though I had them set differently, pre Valhalla.
I found one small glitch, in graphics. The water surface shows a grid pattern and radio calls appear on it. I had seen this before, in my pre TSH days, before the game stopped playing. I went and reset it to windows 98 capability mode, but it still does it. The weird part is that this grid now appears in the regular Ncape campaign, and it did not appear , pre-Valhalla
Any tips? Thanks again

Way over in Perth, Western Aus...
It was on the TSH site which seems to be down but might be worth sending a PM to Rudel to check if he has any plans to put TSH back online.

You could also check here or here:

I have installed it with jsgme, and I have tried to run the 1st mission in the campaign,
it seems to work fine.
Thanks.

However, I still have lots of hangs and CTDs running this game in win7/64 if I use win98 compatibility,
can you share your most stable setting?

There you have it:

Redirected from http://calltheball.enjin.com/

The squadron appears to be inactive, but the downloads are working fine.

Good luck with that, all of the campaigns and missions there work for me albeit they are of varied quality.
