Lost 6 million...

Don't know what happened, docking normally, get permission, as I approach the slot I see a red message to the right (didn't get time to read it) and hear traffic control inform me that hostile actions will not be tolerated. The same second I am blasted into a trillion tiny pieces and my Beluga is no more (luckily I have rebuy for 35 more)

Still a pain and I have no idea why. Hardpoints retracted, slot was clear, had docking permission (Pad 09)

I had passengers but hadn't been scanned and wasn't wanted. banghead

Might be worth checking the main forums and contacting support. It could be a known bug and you may get your loss refunded.

Pirates got a hold of a commandeered station cannon and had a little fun before being taken out by the SWAT teams.

EDIT: Just saw, yes possibly due to "Wanted" passengers.

You have to read the VIP missions very carefully. They give clues about whether a passenger is wanted. Currently, one scan with a wanted passenger makes your ship wanted, too.

Some clues on the mission screen are obvious: The passenger is a Criminal Mastermind (bingo!). Some are less so, but may mention things like them being fugitive from what I've seen.

They really need to "fix" this though. Surely not ALL your passengers were wanted. Could they not have waited until he disembarked and captured him alive?

Also, it surely can't be safe blowing up a ship in such close proximity to the station itself! biggrin

Yep, exactly.

It should be a fine for transport of a fugitive. And of course, there's no way the now captured fugitive would be able to pay you for the trip... so a loss there, too.

That'd actually make for some fun smuggling runs.

Yeah, I was carrying some dodgy types but that doesn't explain insta-death. Wanted cargo means get scanned, get fined.
And I wasn't even scanned. Bug makes sense. I can accept being caught and killed if I had a chance to fight or flee but not 'You die now' station batteries opening fire in the slut without warning.

Oops. biggrin

I suppose stations could be considered sluts, what with how much traffic they get...
