Damn, I am really sorry to hear that man.

Pray pray and pray, I guess that's one way you can try to find comfort in this difficult time. Can't imagine what you must be going through but I hope you manage to come through this strong and steady.

Take care of yourself and family.

Archie, my wife and I send our deepest sympathies to your family. I can't imagine a darker time than this, but try to remain strong for yourself and those who love you. Peace.

So very sorry for your loss Archie. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Deepest condolences Archie. I can't think of much worse to happen than the loss of a child.

His funeral is tomorrow. These last two years have been the best he has had since he was about 16. He had been clean for a year and went from listening to Gangsta Rap to Country and Christian music. He played the drums in our church worship band and bowled in the church league. Last week some guys from his past showed up and he had a relapse. He's in the arms of God now.

These are his three favourite songs and will be played at his funeral:

The church worship band will be joined by the drummer and bass player from my old band.

It's been a rough week but we take comfort in knowing that his battles are over and he's home now

No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I stand

Sorry for your loss. I lost my 19 yr old daughter to a car accident on July 28. She was my baby. I know how it is and I'm still in a deep fog. God bless.
