I have read some of the discussion topics and posts/replies by the developers, sounds very promising as to what they are going after game play wise. Basically its not Dangerous Waters style of you run each station but more of your the Capt and have your crew feeding the info to you. I can live with that.

That's weird. What happened to my thread I started on this? It was labeled Cold Waters and its nowhere to be found. I agree this one looks promising.

How is this game set up? Is it a strategy type of thing or are you actually in the submarine? 'Cause if this is a modern "Silent Hunters", then hell yeah.....I'm in!

From what I have read, I understand it as being your in a Sub and you are the Captain.

Its been green lit on Steam.

That would be fantastic! Not only spiritual successor to RSR, but now Dangerous Waters too..they will be on my "Must Buy!" list for some time to come..

Good to hear that they are smart enough to not limit themselves to a locked or frozen database.

Interesting. I loved RSR, and still play it on DosBox. I'll be curious to see how this one develops, as at the moment all they really have to show is pretty renderings of units. Once they start rolling out some actual GUI shots, etc, I'll be much more intrigued.

I enjoyed a lot SSN from Tom Clancy, and this one not only claims to be the spiritual successor of red storm rising, but it also borrows from SSN. For me it is a couple of steps up in the right direction.
