Hi: I'm waiting for UE to be released before getting into the sim but have a couple questions I cannot find answers to.
Will UE still require CFS3 ? If so I might as well try to find a copy somewhere now.
and
Will there be a complete installer that will install all available aircraft ? or will we need to install each bundle individually as with WOFF 1,2 &3 ?

Thanks

Mark

The Devs will release all of the info about UE - including what it comes with, new features, new planes, improvements, installation and requirements - in due time. I will say that as a beta tester I have not read or been told anything about Ultimate Edition NOT requiring CFS3. I'm not a dev and I'm not pretending to be one, but my understanding is that CFS3 will still be required in order to fly Wings Over Flanders Fields Ultimate Edition. I would be extremely surprised to hear otherwise.

Sorry I can't give any more info in terms of what WOFF UE will include, but it's not for me to steal any of the devs 'thunder' since they have worked so hard to produce this incredible sim.

Ok, Thanks for the reply. I'll wait on CFS3 just to be sure.

Geez - just found CFS3 on Amazon.ca. Looks like there are different ones Europe/Pacific etc.
but cheapest I found for just base CFS3 is $50 Canadian.
Bit surprised its still that high - isn't it a fairly old sim ?
Anyone know if there is a better place to get it in Canada ?

Thanks

That seems very high. Most folks in the USA are finding it for around $10. I'm sure where to tell you to look in Canada, but I would certainly keep looking for a much more reasonable price than that.

I got mine from here and installed it as cfs3. It is 3.1 and is patched. WOFF 3 installed fine.

Ya, 10-15 was where I was figuring.
Don't mind paying whatever it costs for UE but CFS3 should be cheaper.
At that price might be cheaper to order it from the U.S.
Will keep looking

Thanks

The site 69Yanks linked is where I got it as well, and I am also in Canada, so I can confirm it worked just fine downloading from there.

Good buy.
I don't know how WOFF UE is going to be packaged but I can (almost certainly) guarantee you will need to have CFS3 already. Unless Bill Gates is a secret WOFF'er.

They posted the price and requirements on the WOFF Main page.
It will require CFS3.
There is a buy button now but you cannot actually buy it yet - at least I don't think so smile

Actually the price has a line through it so I guess we don't know price yet.

Hmmmm... I see a price, and when I clicked "buy now" it took me directly to the Avangate site, as if it were on sale already.

EDIT: That's because it is! Bought and downloading. Mwuahahaha! cheers

Malwarebytes flagged OBD as ransomeware.
Guess I'm safe to restore it ?
