-An advanced Active Phased Array Radar (like in the next bacth of F/A-18E)
-A Helmet mounted display to cue the AIM-9X or Phyton 4 AAM
-Replace the PW100 with the -229 model
-advanced IIF (like in the F/A-18E)
-new cockpit displays

it will still be cheaper that the FA22.

With such an upgrade package the F-15A/C could still be effective - but it will never happen because it could prove an effective substitute for the FA-22

yeah, I'm still very skeptical of the F/A-22..we won't really know how capable until it goes 1v1 with a SU-37...

But what is really the most dangerous enemy for the F-22 and F-35?

A Chinese Flanker?

But it is better to get to a point where the F22 goes up against the Su37, than for western powers to face the Su37 with a modified F15.

Given what happened to the Comanche though, the F22 could very well be next.

But let's hope not.

Also of note is Europe,despite their bickering, is getting their act together with the next generation Eurofighter that should enter service within the next two years.

If it is made according to the specifications that we've seen, what single aircraft in America's arsenal is better than the Eurofighter in a Multi-Role capability?

Or what about the Rafale?
