Stumbled across Rodney Carringtons old sitcom yesterday. Just been binge watching. I saw it years and years ago but long enough to enjoy it all over again.
Man, that show is funny!
Great performances, very clever writing, top notch.
Just been, literally, crying with laughter at the Halloween one.

I've never even heard of this show. According to Wikipedia this aired on ABC from 2004-2008.

What would the British version of that term be?

See, now, just off the top of me head (Ive heard >THAT before), because Shogun is my favourite book of all time, I know that you said, from a female perspective, "thank you very much hot chicks"!
If you wanted to say "thank you" from a blokes point of view it would just be "Arigato" In a very gruff manner.
Ok, Im a pedantic twat, arent I biggrin

Neither had I, but what I saw on YouTube was worth watching. I have sen the first three, plus the Halloween episode, already.
