And within 45 minutes I reverted back to Win 7 Pro. I couldn't get over things like how the desktop goes below the task bar, unless you choose to hide the taskbar; or how the icons on the taskbar, even in "large" size are much smaller than the ones on Win 7. Plus, it was slow as slow can be...and my rig isn't a bad setup: Holy moly what an unmitigated headache. I don't see how anyone likes this but hey, to each his own.

Indeed we call blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of the perseverance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, because “the Lord is compassionate and merciful. James 5:11

Windows 2000 for the Win! Wife has crap-listed our closest Walmarts (one at a time, 3-strike rule, some stories are funny), so I don't get to play on 10 anymore while she shops. I really didn't get 10. I'm watching ReactOS (Win2k/XP clone - 500MB HDD and 96MB RAM) to see where it goes... https://www.reactos.org/

The icon size took some getting used to for me too but slower than 7? Something was not right then.

Same thing for me when I tested it about a year ago. So many of my favorite video editing programs would not work with windows 10 I reverted back to. But it took some serious cleaning to get it totally restored back to what it once was. Had to update our office computer to 10 though. Just did it a few months back and it went painless for the update. Still don`t like the control features or Cortana on a notebook. I have it on my windows 8.1 phone where it belongs.

Not sure exactly what you mean about the task bar? I'm used to it and no problems. I don't like how updates are handled but it's not a big deal. Performance is excellent though.

It works. There are annoyances.
Last I checked, there was no way for me to manually check/install updates. So it updates at inopportune times, here and there. Sometimes the computer seems to be downloading stuff, with no hints as to what. I so far have presumed this to be updates. But I shouldn't have to presume.
Some of the buttons and tools lack useful tooltips, even as to what the button or feature will do.
Seems like a good chunk of the "new" stuff requires a MS login for even basic functionality. At least the Sticky Notes don't require me to log into MS account (yet).
I'm not a fan of UI that hide controls or have lots of invisible buttons. Seems the idea of "OK" or "Save Settings" button is not cool enough. So it's not always clear when clicking around that you are saving what you are doing. I presume to this point that the answer is always "YES".
UI colors a not very appealing, and few ways to do much with it.
Some buttons don't do what they seem like they should. Saw a tray notification. I have 3 apps that could be closed. I click the notification. The window that opened has nothing to do with closing apps? Nothing to do with apps in general? Huh?
Tons of wasted UI space. Huge expanses of nothing on most of some windows, yet still I have to scroll to see it all?
But still.. It does work.

Running it on two desktops, two laptops and a Surface Pro 4 and I have not had an issue. Note: For best performance, after you do the upgrade. Nuke the machine and do a clean install. That will solve many potential issues with drivers and such.

Agreed with Mojo and cichlidfan. Clean is always best.

Yup, that's what I did, update, nuke, install. Been at least 6 months or more now and love it.
