Hi gentlemans..
Yesterday installed this game..
Meanwhile familiar with the game and fly only Quick Missions..But having a problem.
What happens is that the game freezes after a few minutes..Help hard restart PC

Windows7 ( yesterday complet reinstall )
I5 2500K. RAM 16GB. NVIDIA 1060 6GB

and now..runtime error..

First thing I would check are the temperatures of the Graphiccard and the CPU. Have you tried other games too? Are drivers of the Graphiccard up to date? If so you could try an older driver,if aviable. I believe someone with a GTX 1080 had problems too,turned out it has been the driver making trouble.

Try http://openhardwaremonitor.org/ if you don't have a temp monitor.

I had problems with my 1080 but it turned out to be my 850 PSU. It worked great for my GTX 780 ti but as soon as I installed the GTX 1080 it started randomly rebooting during games.

What mobo do you have? Some old motherboards do need a bios update to run a new nVidia card.

Quick mission in WOFF..runtime error...disable DX9 shader..ok..start quick missions..flying 15sec..freeze game..hard restart
I'm going to try a last resort..install older driver..

If it works with dx9 shaders turned off, try a fresh dx9 install.

Has he installed the DX9 package that is provided in the WOFF Toolkit ???

Install first drive for 1060...off all AA setings in NVIDIA control panel..DX9 shader enabled, only bump map off (0) and voila WOFF ok..yet

but

IMHO : in my folder WOFF Toolkit no DX9 package..

WOFF rarely crashes in mid mission unless due to hardware cooking, crashing.
CPU overheating? WOFF uses CPU lots. If you are overclocking, turn it down a lot or off. See the troubleshooting section of the FAQ (near the end) and also various such as section 40
tell you exactly where DX9 is and how to install it. Also make sure you are up to date with the latest version available of WOFF - see downloads on our website.

DX9 is linked in the FAQ and also is in WOFF\Toolbox\DX9redist as JJJ says (if you have updated your WOFF that is).
