If you play for 4 days and reach rank 15 you get an in-game reward. I have heard a dog tag.
I played a little the first day it was available (just to insiders) and it was ok. I was playing medic and its almost impossible to find people to revive. The icons/indicators are pretty much non-existent, I assume because respawns no longer affect ticket bleed in conquest so everyone just skips waiting for a medic.
I tried playing again last night a little and it was an absolute sh*tshow. I think everyone was trying to play at once and took down their network. I finally got into a game, but everyone was in individual squads and it seemed like no one was trying to work together. I will probably be on some this weekend so if anyone sees me and wants to party up and work together let me know.

I have a love/hate relationship with the series, including this one...
Love the teamwork and squad work, love capturing and completing the missions, hate the snipers who all sit on the edge of the maps as a group, (OK with an occasional sniper covering his team), hate how most players are more concerned about kills then the goal of the game....
That said, love BF1 for what it is...already pre-ordered. I just have a issue with the "special unit's", I think they are over powered.

I know that most people have this stance about people that play these games and snipe. But I'm someone who has done this quite a bit, and never really got the anger that so many people have for people that do this. I realize that it isn't very helpful to the team to win this match, but most of the time, I'm not playing worrying about winning every match that I play. I'm playing to have fun, some day's I don't feel like running and gunning, and just want to see how many shots I can connect with at long ranges. That's how these games are enjoyable for me sometimes. That doesn't mean I don't grab my assault rifle and jump in the fray as well, reviving and contributing. Just never got the anger that goes towards people wanting to play the way they want to play. Maybe I'm missing something, or not taking everything into account.

I pre-ordered it. I love the BF series.
BF3 is probably my favorite. By the end of it's run, BF4 was outstanding as well. BF2 was excellent on the PC until the hackers/cheaters ruined it.
Honestly, though, I'd have still preferred a return to WW2. Maybe that's where they'll go next.
