I'm not much of a photographer, but I do get to see some stuff once in a while. There's too much to put up here, so here's the link to my 2016 Airshow season folder. The locations are the Fantasy of Flight museum, the Farnborough Airshow, The Royal international Air Tattoo, and the Abbottsford Airshow in Canada.

I love the Swordfish photos. My brother used to work on that airplane (he worked for the RNHF).

Thanks for sharing JarheadEd - some lovely stuff there thumbsup

Where is the 'wet' B-26 Marauder based? Is it a static display aircraft, or is it a 'flyer'? Questions, questions...

Cheers biggrin

The B-26 is based out of the Fantasy of Flight Museum near Orlando Fl. Of course it was a typical Florida afternoon of 5 minute monsoon followed by sauna. I took that picture while underneath a C-47 as I sheltered from the rain. Apparently it is a flyer, but according to the proctors there, she hadn't been up in several months.

Ice Cold in Alex or Eating in ...
Great pictures thank you for sharing them, just makes me impatient for the Sanicole International Airshow a week Friday (9th & 11th Sept)

Wife was watching an episode of Cold Case where they were investigating the death of a woman pilot from WW2, they were supposed to be flying / training on B26 aircraft but the aircraft in which they were filming was a B25 smile

Several scenes for that episode were filmed at Planes of Fame. The B-25 was Photo Fanny and their P-40, P-51, P-59 were utilized in other scenes. Even a Mig 15 of theirs made it into one of the scenes but you have to know its there and be looking for it.
