Yeah I picked up the digital version so I don't have to put in the DVD for the CD check, since we use the XB1 for watching DVD movies too. I agree with you on most of the backwards compatible games, they often don't match how great our memory of them was, but I think RDR will be like Dark Souls 1 for me where the gameplay and story is so good that I ignore the jaggy graphics

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't a bunch of people who might finally make the move from XB360 to XB1 now that they won't have to give up RDR due to the upgrade.

When my wife made me (convinced me) to put away my 360 games due to the kids messing with the boxes I kept a few out. RDR was one, and it has actually been sitting next to my console for the past few months after the earlier release rumors.

Played it for the first time in 5 years last weekend. I saw the date on my save game file and laughed. Controls came back pretty easy (for the most part) and I completed a couple of story missions that I didn't get to on my first go-round. I guess it's time to go back and finish out the campaign.

Yeah I restarted my campaign since it had been a few years and it really holds up well, before I knew it a few hours passed and I didn't want to stop playing.
