Just spent 2.5 hours in Multi play AIX. Absolutely brilliant, loads of fun. Even though the guy in the vid says it´s a SP mod it works MP too.
The choppers are easiier to handle, a bit nippier, not so sluggish.
I honestly like this one better than BFDC

ok, so my issues might have been caused by me having 2 soundcards in my PC, the onboard realtec and my X-fi internal card, ill go into BIOS tonight and disable the realtec card, ive been told do disable EAX manually in my profile as well, so ill do that, then see if i can open audoi and turn off the #%&*$# loud music, and see if i can connect to a game without a CTD...

Check PMs Susan. Loadsa info for ya there. That was one of the " cures" in there. You have to disable EAX in the CON file BEFORE you get in-game. I think. More info in the PM though. Sent last night

got my audio sorted, downloading the map pack now so i can do the MP maps

The map pack is not a necessity, mate. It´s just extra maps.
AIX already installed aq shed load of new maps from the core mod. But yes, the masp pack is a gooood idea.

BTW, I think I have a handle on Hamachi.
Well, something else to try anyway.
