Mein Komputer ist tot nowadays, so I'm iPad only for a little while until I get something sorted :/

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Well I won't say I won't take one for a nostalgic spin now & then smile but nowadays I get more of a kick fighting for survival than dominating a battlefield wink

Guys Pitts is also possibly going to game. He is sending out friend invites on Steam as well so don't just ignore it. Also Scout is also possibly going to do this as well.

Sadly that is the truth isn't it! Remember I tried to have a big meet up of all the minds a couple years ago and when it got time to do it even though everyone signed up they bailed. We shall see on this

Flatout was a good game back in the day. The guys who did it are making a new game also.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/228380/

though you'd have to get your system updated to play it. We've had a good time playing it though. Just put it on 20 laps of oval or 8 and see who comes out alive smile

p.s. Another good one for up to 6 I think is spintires. Its just about hauling logs but it's a lot of fun in MP because people get stuck in the mud and you have to drive over and wench them out.

Nice stuff there, mate. Thanks smile
Well, some of us havent got the horsepowers to run new stuff, unfortunately, so were (Im) stuck with older titles. But, we used to game them very succesfully and thats another reason to try m again.

Spintires. Thats the Russian one innit? Yeah I tried that. I quite enjoyed that.:)

Hey troopers thumbsup
K.
Me and Doc tested FlatOut tonight for the ablity to connect. No Go.
Heres what we did...

I have GOG Flat Out (henceforth known as FO) ergo we cant use FlatOutNet which is the little exe we used to use to connect. GOG has a different file system, apparently.

Doc has retail FO with orig exe. No connect either way
we scratch our heads and drink some beer

Doc changes exe to the Eu 1.1. No connect either way.
we scratch our heads and drink some beer

Doc D/ls the GOG version. no connect either way
we scratch our heeds and drink some bear

Doc changes to EU exe. No connect either way
we scritch our hoods and slink some boar

We use the CMD Line Batch file host and joiner method (ask if youre interested) No connect either way.
We scratch our beer and drink some heads

We try with Hamachi.
Now, as neither of us has a CLUE how this thing works.....No connect. Any experts out there? Regular users of Hamachi? Because this could be the way forward. Post up, jump in.

We look at each other (not easy) say Feck it. Call it a night.
we scratch our bollocks and drink some Aramis

Done.

Follow up post in a minute.
xdxx

Not an expert but I've started using Hamachi successfully in the past few weeks.

Download LogMeIn Hamachi Getting Started Guide

It's 22 pages long but I think you can get it set up pretty easy just by following the instructions on pages 13-15.

Once you set it up, and others connect as clients, you set up your multiplayer session as if you are on a LAN rather than via TCP/IP.

There is a limit to the number of clients that can connect to the free version of Hamachi, not sure what that is however. Five maybe?
