Saitek/Mad Catz is discontinuing the Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals and replacing warranty cases with standard Pro Flight Rudder Pedals. Makes me f**ing mad that they think a product that cost $100 less is a suitable replacement. On top of that, I have to keep calling in once a month to get status updates.

Sent in my Combat Pedals in Jan/Feb after being told in Nov 2015 that I should wait until Jan/Feb because it would be back in production then. Told that it would take 4-5 weeks to send me a NEW replacement. Called back in 4-5 weeks, told to wait another 4-5 weeks. Called back again in 4-5 weeks, told to wait until end of June. Called back end of June, told to wait another 4-5 weeks. Called back today, told I was getting cheaper pedals to replace my more expensive set.

And they couldn't have just repaired the damn toe brakes...?

Oh yeah and their RMA support is now in Europe (instead of California, so you have to call in around 8AM PST to get a Supervisor on the line).

Anyone experience the same?

Could you not just ask for a refund instead?

I did. They don't want to give out cash. I also bought it as part of a combo with the Warthog, so that makes the value of it tricky to determine.

Put the returned unit on sales in eBay, people say that Saitek reach high price these days, someone sold their used pedals for ~250$.

Use the money for buy a MFG Crosswind, VKB T-Rudder....

Yeah, I intend to. Though, it would be helpful if I just got my Combat set back, as that seems to net a higher amount. I think Saitek lost my pedals though.

I may be late to the party, but why are they discontinued?

The rumor is that with all the factory shutdowns and consolidations going on a Mad Catz, the only one left open is the X-56 production line. There is also a rumor that the factories may be holding the tooling, molds, etc hostage. I haven't verified any of it though and the CS rep doesn't seem to know a thing either.

I think I may have to pursue this via small claims court since they seem like they've lost my pedals and in either case, they've failed to honor their 2 year warranty, thus invalidating the sales agreement.
