Overboard was great. I wasn't expecting much, but it delivered more than it promised.
As for disappointing, I think I was pretty disappointed with Escape from L.A. His Snake seemed forced.

However, I think the only DVD I have with Kurt Russell is Stargate.

Yeah, "Escape from LA" is definitely one sequel that should have never happened and "Stargate" is also the only film I own on dvd/bluray with Russell but I've been thinking about getting "The Thing".

One of my favorite moments in Overboard was Goldie Hawn referring to one of the kids as a "falsetto child."

The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

Technically speaking, "Soldier" is a sequel to "Blade Runner."

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it took place in the same universe as Blade Runner. I didn't find out though for a couple of years after I saw the movie when I read an interview with the director. Near the start of the film you see a list of battles where Kurt Russell's character has fought and one of them is "Battle of the Tannhauser Gate". smile

I had no idea about that! Going to have to watch it again.

Yep, it got put in the mental category that includes Escape From New York and, oddly, Buckaroo Banzai, which my friends and I just loved.

One of the cars in the identify cars thread is from Big Trouble in Little China.
