Birds are odd giving affection, they test their limits playing with their "friend".

Reminds some of when I was a young man, 12. Found an owl from a demolished barn and raised it for a few months. Before I set her free she would follow me on my newspaper delivery route tethered on and off to my newspaper shoulder bag. After that she would call out but stop by less often. Finally she made owl friends and distanced herself over time.

I still call to the owls, plenty around here. Sometimes I think one is a descendant of "Ears". Wishful thinking at best...LoL

How did you get to this song, MudWasp?
It is about the High Tatra, an area in Romania (I think).
Did your ancestors come from there?

BTW, High Tatra (Vysoké Tatry) are the highest mountains in northern Slovakia, on the border with Poland.
