Drone swarms might be the big new thing, or it might be like those wonky jetpacks they toyed around with in the '60s and envisioned whole battalions quickly surrounding a surprised enemy with. Or probably more likely, something in between.

If this question had come up 15 or 20 years ago, it might have been worth considering.
But now, in my humble opinion, the word is more unstable then since the 1930s so its just not worth the time and resources to fundamentally re-organize the US military.
