Found this clip will looking through the reddit sound porn subreddit (which all you audiophiles must check out by the way).

I couldn't believe how quick it launched, I don't know what I expected but it just seemed so quick!

I've seen that video but it was slightly different and had another title:

Stick a Saturn V down a hole in the ground and that would probably launch pretty fast as well. Not sure the Apollo crew would appreciate it very much though.

Sorry, I meant the entire launch sequence. I don't know what I was expecting but it seemed so quick from opening the door the missile gone took seconds.

I suppose I always expected that the door would take a little longer to open and there'd be a minute or so till the missile launches, but on reflection of course they'd want the thing gone ASAP and on it's way to another country.

They put a lot of effort into making sure their newer ballistic missiles are hard to catch on the way up and on the way down.

One reputed element I've never seen thus far is a last ditch silo protection system that consists of either a cluster of 30mm autocannons or what amounts to a giant claymore designed to destroy an incoming ground penetrating warhead.

The reasons Saturn V's launched so slowly and ICBM's like this launch so quickly are compleeeeeeeeetely different.

The launching mechanisms are totally, totally different.

You can even see the engine is not fired until out of the tube here, it's propelled by either compressed air or some other gas or maybe even physically. Same dealio with the VLS tubes in most submarines.

Stick a Saturn V in a hole in the ground then try to launch and it will explode killing everyone riding on it...!

Looks a bit odd, as the rocket looks more like a G to A rocket or even a model, not an ICBM. Maybe it's the lack of anything to scale in shot. but it looks too small.

The vibrations would indeed tear it apart. That's what the water spray on big rocket launches was for, too. Not to cool it down or prevent fires...to deaden the massive sound waves from destabilizing the relatively thin-skinned rockets.

The rapidity is, from what I've read/heard on US missile defense, due to the fact that once the blast door is open, the facility has "gone soft" as they call it. Vulnerable. So the door will open at the latest possible point in the launch preparation, just ahead of launch.

That was impressive. I've visited the Titan Missile Museum a number of times and they have at Atlas Silo about 15 miles from my parents, unfortunately, they have terrible hours so I never have gotten to go inside the site.
