You still hang around the old system? Nice! I'll grab them off you if they're "too hot" for you to handle. I'm not playing very much so the canisters will be safe for a time, maybe long enough for DIH to level up appropriately.

Any idea how far the quest area/farseer is from our old system, Rook?

Lastly, can someone refresh my memory regarding storing ships? I seem to remember you can't store Ship A and use Ship B if Ship A still has cargo in it's hold, is this still the case? Damn, I miss EVE Online's inventory system in these cases!

With the latest patch, any cargo in a stored ship is moved to the retrieved ship (of course it has to have enough cargo space).

Well, I knew I was tempting fate carrying those canisters around and disaster finally struck last night. Was in my Clipper on a normal cargo run when right after a jump, got interdicted at a star by an elite NPC Clipper - thought I should be able to take him no problem so I engaged and within 2 minutes I had lost my shields and hull was at 70% to his 80%. So I thought "Okay, time to run" but he matched my speed and continued the fight. Next thing I know, FSD offline, and hull dropping below 40%. Turns out he had rail guns on secondary and he never seemed to miss. A couple more hits, and I'm looking at the insurance screen... first death in about a year.

So, I'm about $8 million lost, and those meta alloys are now residents orbiting the star's corona in the Alicari system. Sorry gents, that's the way the cookie crumbles...

Oh no... Here's to quickly recovering the $8 million!
