Dae-Su is an obnoxious drunk bailed from the police station yet again by a friend. However, he's abducted from the street and wakes up in a cell, where he remains for the next 15 years, drugged unconscious when human contact is unavoidable, otherwise with only the television as company. And then, suddenly released, he is invited to track down his jailor with a denouement that is simply stunning.
A South Korean film, notable for a scene where the main character eats a live octopus, during which I had to look away.As the film progresses you start to piece together what happened until the final reveal which is quite shocking.

And yes, my wife dragged me to see the Angry Birds movie. It actually wasn't as torturous as I thought it would be.

my kids grandfather wants to go see that but my boys are 12 & 14, I don't see them going anymore. I was going to tell my youngest that he should suck it up after all the bad movies he's made him go to...
GF and I saw Money Monster with Julia Roberts and George Clooney, it was a really good movie
