The first thing you might try is turning off Vibrance (change it from 1 to 0 in the top section) On=1, Off=0
That will get you the pure OBD colors but leave the image sharpening.

The Curves soften the LumaSharpen edges a bit (supposedly) so you might start by leaving those two on. That's the thing that I think SweetFX brings to the table that isn't native to CFS3 - that incredibly sharp image! And I agree, that's not a knock on OBD, that's an enhancement of OBD...it looks better than ever! The wood grains pop out on the skins, the rivets, the stains in the canvas, everything! Its why SweetFX is so popular with so many major games.

Then you can add Vibrance back in if you want to enhance the color a little bit and play with the Vibrance numbers in the lower section. I was using 0.10 with my old monitor, but to see as best as I can tell the same colors with my new monitor I had to move it up to 0.22

So Vibrance can be monitor specific. What you and I are seeing on our different monitors could be very different with the same Vibrance setting. I'm always struck by that when I see 12 monitors on the wall at the computer store all playing the same program simultaneously and I'm amazed the different image quality and colors between the monitors.

Good points Buck..my monitor is a 2K Dell ultrasharp. So the vibrance and contrast is already top notch

I agree with you 100% about OBD,s colors Woff 3 does indeed look good,but like you say you do notice things like wood grain,the tire detail..etc

I use Sweetfx or Reshade with nearly all my game titles it really does enhance loads of games (GTA V,Witcher 3).

No SweetFX in any of my posts... it's all standard game...
