Hello all..

I was wondering if the enhanced maunal will be upgraded to reflect the new avionic's upgrades/features in the second patch...and if so, where does that leave us guys who purchased the manual..??

Not likely. It leaves you with an enhanced manual, that will not have the updated: RWR modes, CCRP bombing mode, so on and so forth. However, you may consider a cut and paste into your notes pages with the read me info from the patch download. Other than that, me thinks you are (like so many others, myself included) SOL (S*** Outta Luck).

I really hope not.

If they update the manual for future purchases, I hope they make the amended parts free for downlaod. It shouldn't be a problem, as not every piece of avionic's has been updated..

The patch itself will come with a nice addition to the manual explaining all you need to know about the new features. Sure it won't be on papaer but it can be printed out.

I know what your saying Zero, but will the readme file be the same illustrated quality has the PDF manual I paid for..??..thats what I mean..

That sounds like good news. No "SOL"

I should think that they'd publish the .pdf already formatted to print to the appropriate sized paper, or include "cut here" lines to trim down standard paper.

Nic's response seems to indicate a free update for those who've purchased the manual. I think that that is really impressive! Please remember that they goofed their initial production cost estimate, and sold many of the initial batch at below cost.

It'll be nice to have training missions that work with the patch, and a manual to match!
